Educating the Construction Industry Workers of Tomorrow

NEF K-12 Programs

The NAWIC Education Foundation has developed several programs and competitions created to foster and promote construction as a viable career choice among students from grade school to high school level.

Accessory Structure Project (ASP) Designed for grades 8-12 and perfect for 9th and 10th grade students.

Block Kids is a national award winning program which introduces children grades 1-6 to the construction industry.

Building Design is a Scale-Model Building Program for students at the junior high/middle school level.

CAD/Design Drafting is a high school student program. Students awarded for creative design, successful problem solving and craftsmanship in preparing architectural drawings.
